Please join the Rogers High School PTO at the King Park pavilion at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12 for the first PTO meeting of the 22-23 school year. All are welcome! New parents are especially encouraged to get involved as we begin planning for an exciting year ahead. Bundle up and watch the sunset with us! We hope to see you there!

The Newport Festivals Foundation is offering four free, virtual workshops taught by musicians and industry professionals.

All students are encouraged to apply and no previous music knowledge is necessary. This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from professional musicians and industry pros about subjects including songwriting, audio engineering, jazz appreciation, and music journalism. All workshops are intended for high school ages and will be taught online, after school on Zoom.

Registration is currently limited to High School students from Aquidneck Island. until Tuesday, October 11th, where registration will open up to the rest of the country.

The RHS Athletic Boosters is having a class challenge for the food drive at the upcoming homecoming football game. The class that collects the most food will have $500 donated to their class fund by the boosters. When this passes, could we still continue to use the other food drive post? Thank you so much for your help.

Many of the scholarships listed are online scholarships. The general rule is if the scholarship listed has a link that means the application is online. If the scholarship on the list does not have an online link then the paper application is in Guidance in the filing cabinet under the "Scholarship" sign! (To the right of Ms. Gorman's desk)

For every scholarship you apply for you will need to fill out a Blue Transcript Request form. Those forms are available in Guidance on the table in front of Ms. Gorman's desk. If you are not able to come to Guidance you can email Ms. Gorman @ joanngorman@npsri.net and she will forward you an electronic fillable form.
