Great First Week of School Great First Week of School

Thank you all for a great first week of school. We loved meeting all of our new Jaguars and hearing about all the summer adventures from our returning students. We're continuing to balance classes and some students may still be getting slight schedule changes.

Reverse Schedule Next Week Reverse Schedule Next Week

Just when everyone was starting to get the hang of their schedules, we're changing it up. All next week, we will be on a reverse schedule. This means we start with period 6 and end with period 1. Advisory remains before lunch every week. All staff members will be providing reminders as to which class period is next. They'll all be pros at regular and reverse schedules in no time!

Uniforms Uniforms

Thank you to all who have been coming to school in full uniform. Next week we will begin to fully enforce our uniform policy. This means that students who are not in uniform will be provided with a clean, previously-used uniform to change into for the day. If you are experiencing any difficulties obtaining the uniform, please be sure to let us know so that we can help.

Safety Reminders Safety Reminders

  • The use of masks while indoors is highly recommended for all students and staff.
  • If anyone is feeling sick, please stay home.
  • We have rapid tests for students experiencing symptoms or who were a close contact with someone who tested positive.
  • Please do not use the staff parking lots for student drop-off and/or pick-up.
  • Please use the crosswalks if parking across the street from the school during drop-off and/or pick-up.
  • McDonald's is the place where many students from all different schools, including high school, come to meet. Be cautious when letting your child hang out there after school.

Parents Needed Parents Needed

Every year our students participate in the ACE Heartbeats program brought to us by EduCare. The student workshops focus on success, positive school climate and connection, and character-building skills. The goal is to empower students to achieve excellence in personal, social, and academic pursuits while building a school culture of empathy and kindness.

Parents and Guardians! We need your help facilitating small groups during the workshops. Your roll will be to ensure the small groups are discussing the prompt, completing tasks, and working together. We will show you how to do each part. Spanish speaking parents also welcomed as we have some students who are learning to speak English.

Please complete the form below if you are able to help us out!

6th grade:

September 27th, 28th, and 29th
