Student Benefit Forms
If you haven't completed a student benefit form for each of your children, please do so as soon as possible. These forms support your children in the following ways:
- increased funding to support instruction, technology, student services, and programs like Community Schools, tutoring and free meals.
- this form helps the school to provide free lunches to all students
A second copy of the form was sent home with families that have not yet completed it. There was a pink slip attached to the top of the form. Not sure if you filled yours out? Call the school at 410-479-2897.
BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT SURVEY
Please provide us with your feedback in regards to our Back to School Night Event. Please also include your input on Title I and Concentration of Poverty grant spending.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Back-to-School Night! We truly appreciate the time you took to connect with our staff, learn about your child's school experience, and strengthen our school community.
If you have not already done so, please take a few moments to complete our Back-to-School Night Family Survey. Your feedback is incredibly valuable as we reflect on this event and plan future opportunities for family engagement. We would love to hear about your experience, what you found most helpful, and any ideas you have for making future events even better.
The information gathered through this survey also helps us document and evaluate our family engagement efforts, which is an important part of our ongoing school improvement work.
Every response matters and makes a difference. We encourage all families who attended to complete the survey.
Thank you for your partnership and continued support of our school!
Warm regards,
Mary Jo Kerr
Principal

Parade Details
When: Friday, October 30, 2026 at 9:20am
Where:
Students will walk around the parking areas of the campus stopping at each treat table. Parents are welcome to watch the parade. Class parties are to follow and volunteers should check in with their child’s teachers for more specific party details. When it is time for volunteers to enter the building, they should check in the front office first.
Reminders:
Please be sure your child’s costume is school appropriate. As always, guns, swords, and other weapons are not permitted for our parade.
In consideration of our younger students, we ask that you do not send your child with gory costume accessories, such as blood, scars, or anything that may be too scary.
Please be sure your child is in costume when they come to school. If their costume requires a little extra and cannot be worn to school, such as a blow up costume, this is okay to send in with your child, and the staff can help.
Parade Route
Students will complete one loop through the back part of the school to the first parking lot, to give students the opportunity to see each other's costumes. Then students will make a second loop, stopping at each treat station along the route before returning to the building. All party volunteers must check in at the front office upon arrival to help ensure the safety and security of our students, staff, and school community.
We appreciate your cooperation and can't wait to celebrate with you!
¡Agradecemos su colaboración y estamos muy entusiasmados por celebrar con ustedes!
Halloween parties to follow throughout the remainder of the day. Reminder, this is an early dismissal day due to the end of the the first quarter. Please check with your child's teacher for more specific details regarding their class party.

Parents Right to Know: The Federal Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) contains several provisions that promote a parent/school partnership through communication. One such provision gives parents the right to ask for and receive information about the professional qualifications of their child’s classroom teachers. A parent may request the following information: Any college or university degree, major or certification held by the teacher
Whether the teacher is certified by the State of Maryland to teach a particular grade level or subject area
Whether the teacher holds a conditional teaching certificate
The qualifications of the paraprofessionals serving the student
If you would like to request the professional qualifications of your child’s classroom teachers or paraprofessionals, please submit a written request to the principal. The principal will provide the information to you within 30 business days of the date of your request.
