SUPERINTENDENT & PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Hello Parents, Guardian, Caregivers and Students,

Last Thursday marked an important milestone for the Class of 2025 as seniors completed their final day of classes and exams. The Senior Awards Night was a joyful celebration of their achievements, talents, and the journey they have taken to get here. It was a privilege for our school to recognize so many students for their hard work and contributions to our school community.

As we look ahead to graduation on Thursday, June 5 at 6:00 p.m., we are filled with excitement and pride. Thank you to all of our families and students for your support and participation during this special season of celebration. We are grateful to our faculty and staff for their efforts in making these events so meaningful, and we look forward to continuing to honor the Class of 2025 in the days ahead.

Wishing you a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.

PANORAMA SCHOOL CLIMATE SURVEYS - YOUR FEEDBACK MATTERS

As part of our continued effort to improve the GLTS experience for all members of our school community, we are asking students to complete a Panorama Student School Climate Survey and families complete the Panorama Family School Climate Survey by Sunday, June 15. The purpose of this anonymous survey is to gather feedback on school climate, relationships, and overall satisfaction. Your input helps us understand what is working well and where we can improve, so we can create a more supportive and inclusive environment for every student.

You can access the surveys by selecting the appropriate button below. Our leadership team will also use the data to assist and guide our next School Improvement Plan.

Thank you for taking a few minutes to share your perspective.

Students will have time on Monday and Thursday to complete the survey during WIN block.

3rd Annual Reggie Wellness Fair was held on Friday May 23, 2025. to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month. Our goal is to raise awareness of and reduce the stigma surrounding behavioral health issues, as well as highlight the ways mental illness and addiction can affect patients, providers, families, and society at large. Several community partnerships were in attendance sharing their resources with the students. This was a great event and big thanks to the GLTS Youth Empowerment Committee, GLTS social workers/interns and the school counseling for putting this event on.
