Summer Activites

Dear Parents,

Thank you for ending our year strong. Our students rocked their learning. We are still gathering the data, but we have seen alot of growth with each student. As soon as we have the data gathered I will let you know how our Cougar Cubs have "taken flight"!

We’re excited to announce that our school is participating in PlayOn, a FREE summer adventure program for your family!

Your child will receive a PlayOn lanyard this May to kick off their summer journey. With it, they can complete over 140 screen-free activities like scavenger hunts, art projects, hikes, acts of kindness, and more.

After each activity, they visit local PlayOn sponsor locations to collect a badge and unlock amazing rewards like:

  • A free day at Splash Summit, Dreamwalk Park, free PlayOn T-shirts, Crumbl cookies, and visits to The Hive, Kidtopia, and more!

IMPORTANT INFO!
Badge collecting dates:

  • First day kids can start collecting badges: Tuesday, May 27 (day after Memorial Day)

  • Last day to collect badges: Saturday, August 9 (weekend before school starts)

To learn more, check out the video here: [PlayOn 2025 Video] and visit logoffplayon.com

Let’s help our kids unplug from screens and rediscover the magic of being kids again!

Have a great summer break!

It is often characterized by speech that includes any of the following: repetitions (b-b-b-ball), prolongations (sssssssnake), or blocks (c——ar). These patterns may be accompanied by visible tension or face/body movements during stuttering moments. Kids who stutter sometimes describe feeling stuck or out of control when talking.
