Principal Message
This week we had two news crews on campus. CBS and FOX 5 from San Diego came to film Ms. Medve's fifth grade class using AI as a tool to provide specific feedback for students. Ms. Medve has been using Snorkl, an AI tool, to assist in giving students clear, direct feedback to their answers without telling students the solution. This allows students to go back to their problem solving and think through their misconceptions. Another benefit of Snorkl is that it shows Ms. Medve all student work immediately and groups the work by strengths and weaknesses. This allows Ms. Medve to instantly pull groups of students by need to support them further. This program meets our strict District student privacy requirements. Shout out to Ms. Medve for constantly searching for ways to help her students succeed each day and for letting the news in to capture it.
