On Thursday, December 19th, our RMS 8th Grade Chorus has the awesome opportunity to perform on the stage at Radio City Music Hall before the world famous "Christmas Spectacular" show! We are so proud of this group and Mr. Cunningham for their hard work rehearing for this and doing such as great job in front of so many people in a big venue! Below, you can see some picture highlights of our day as well as click the link to see/listen to our performance!

Paige Baisley, RMS/BHS Grad and daughter of our very own Ms. Baisley, came in to speak to Mr. Morris' students about her research in agricultural science. She discussed the project that she was working on currently, and the multitude of career paths that science offers. The students had great questions about her job, and her experiences in school.

Good luck to our winter season student-athletes!

In Spain people eat 12 grapes at midnight on December 31. The number 12 represents the 12 months of the year. Each grape represents a wish for the New Year. It is tradition to eat one grape for each of the 12 chimes of the clock at midnight. It is said that if one can eat all 12 grapes by the time the 12th chime rings that person will have 12 months of good luck". Sra. DeCandia's classes added their 12 "deseos" or wishes for the New Year to their 12 uvas.

The iReady Winter Diagnostic will take place February 10th-13th. Please have your student come to school with charged chromebooks.

With candor, humor and insight, the show explores issues that confront many young people today.

Fame Jr. is directed and choreographed by seasoned Beacon Players: Anabelle Arginsky, Anastasia Santise with music direction by Evelyn Moreno. The Younger Company is our middle school division of the Beacon Players and was created to provide an opportunity for middle and elementary students (grades 5-8) to learn about theater in a fun and supportive environment.
