• Friday, June 12: 8th Grade Promotion Night 6:30 pm-7:30 pm (Last day of school for 8th grade Students)
• Monday, June 15: Last Day of School- Half Day Dismissal at 12:35 pm

Just a reminder that ALL students need to return their Chromebooks for the summer by Thursday, June 11.

• Grades 6/7 will return Chromebooks.
• Grade 8 will return Chromebooks and chargers.

*8th graders need to remove all personal stickers from their device.

Reminder for 8th graders: please arrive at 6:00 pm for Promotion Night on Friday, June 12. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 pm.

Rising 9th graders should use the link below to sign up for Fall sports at EHS.

Please note your student athlete must have a current physical and a copy of a Sports Participation Clearance Form on file in the EHS Health office.

On Sunday, June 14, Big Beautiful Life hosts the Big Beautiful Life Run, Walk & Roll and Essex Fire First Responder Touch-A-Truck (Presented by Vermont Federal Credit Union)—a community celebration honoring medically complex children and those who rally around them. The event runs 8:15 a.m.–1 p.m. at Essex Middle School. Register today!

2026 Goals & Event Highlights:

• Raise $70,000 for Big Beautiful Life, partner nonprofits and first responder missions
• Collect 2,500 lbs of food for Aunt Dot’s Pantry via the Pounds for a Purpose Challenge
• Race options: 5K Trail Blazer (including the legendary “Gorman’s Gulch” challenge or a gulch-free path), 1.2K Flat & Fast accessible course, First Responder events, and a virtual option
• Family fun: First Responder Touch-A-Truck (8:15 a.m.), Mascot Dance Party, face painting, Sweet Scoops Ice Cream, and nonprofit village
• Featured: Addi’s Engine rolls in at 6:30 a.m. and fires the official race start at 10:00 a.m.
