We are excited to welcome everyone back to school this week! I hope everyone had a great break!
It is a short week for students who will return on Thursday. We will hit the ground running with the ACT looming in mid-March for Juniors and ACAP for 7th & 8th graders in mid-April. Our goal is to continue improving and raise the achievement bar.
Our Seniors will begin the fast march toward graduation in May. I know this is something they have been looking forward to all year. If you have been in the gym lobby you will have noticed the Senior year checklist that is filling up fast. Not fast enough them but probably too fast for parents.
Congratulations to our varsity basketball team on their win over Belgreen on Friday night. Also, congratulations to Austin Elliott, Junior, who scored his 1000th career point as a varsity basketball player.
Congratulations to Hayston Scott, Austin Elliott and Avery Cummings. They were all named to the Times Daily Small School All-Area teams. Hayston and Austin were first-team football. Avery was Honorable Mention volleyball.
