The countdown is on! ❤️💛🐴 We are only a few days away from the first day of school, and we are incredibly excited to welcome our Mighty Mustangs back for the 2026–2027 school year!

This year, we are beginning an important mission together: Mission: Every Mustang a Leader! From our youngest learners to our 5th graders, we want every student to know that they have the ability to learn, grow, lead, and make a difference. We look forward to partnering with you as we help our Mustangs Step Up. Step In. LEAD On!

Uniforms on Monday if not in dress for success (free dress).

No CROCS, slides, open toe in PE/Playground for safety purposes.

This flyer highlights our campus’ recommended dress options and weekly spirit traditions. Students may also wear jeans with a campus spirit shirt or other school appropriate attire that complies with EISD dress code.

Neon orange/pink/green pick up cards REQUIRED for pick up.

If you did not get one at Meet the Teacher please get one at morning drop off or front office prior to 3:00.

If you do not have one at pick up you will be required to get in separate line for verification.

Before our Mustang Leaders report for duty, here's important information you'll need to know!

• Families will be connected to their child's ClassDojo classroom/teacher August 3rd.
• This will be our primary form of communication
• Please download the APP to be ready

• Spirit shirt pre-orders will be available during First Week
• $20 each

⏰ Daily Mission Schedule

🚪 Campus Opens: 7:15 a.m. K-5th

🍎 Breakfast: 7:15–7:45 a.m. K-5th

🔔 Instruction Begins: 7:45 a.m.

Students arriving after 7:45 a.m. will be marked tardy.

🏫 Dismissal: 3:15 p.m. K-5th

🚗 Afternoon Pick-Up:

Please ensure your child is picked up no later than 3:30 p.m.

⭐ Mission Tip

Great leaders are on time! Arriving before the 7:45 a.m. bell gives students time to eat breakfast, connect with classmates, and begin each day ready to Step Up. Step In. L.E.A.D. On!

Returning RCLS Families

• Returning students will receive a hard copy of the Annual Student Information Update Forms during the first weeks of school.

• Please review and update your address, phone numbers, emergency contacts, and any other important information so we have the most current records for your child.

New to Roy Cisneros Leadership School?

• Welcome to the Mustang family!

• New students must complete online enrollment before the first day of school.

• Visit https://www.eisd.net/o/eisd/page/enrollment to register.

Need Bus Transportation?

Families requesting bus transportation must re-register each school year.

Please note:

• Submitting a transportation request does not guarantee eligibility for bus service.

• Transportation requests typically take 3–5 business days to process, depending on the number of requests received.

• Families will receive a personal phone call from transportation once their request has been reviewed and a decision has been made.

If your child will need bus transportation this school year, please complete the district's transportation request form as soon as possible on the district website. If you need assistance, please stop by the front office.
