The Bulldog, December 11, 2025

Note from Mrs. Lockwood:

Another great week of teaching and learning! Our beloved Decatur Holiday Marketplace is this weekend. Please come out and shop with our amazing vendors. It's going to be a fantastic two days of shopping, food, & fun!

We are wrapping up the Winter STAR testing session. STAR family reports will be shared before the semester break.

The current family survey completion percentile is 8%. This year's goal is 75%. I know we can reach our goal if we work together! Your voice and perspective are important. Please take 5-10 minutes to complete the Georgia School Climate Survey.

Holiday breaks are a time of relaxation, connection, and fun with loved ones. It can also be a time for students to practice and enhance academic skills through Freckle & Lalilo. Freckle & Lalilo are web-based, fun activities aligned to every student's achievement level based on Star Math & Early Literacy. To access Freckle & Lalilo, you will need your student's email address and password. We will provide a copy of this information before the break, so please check the red communication folder.

Please take a moment this week to make your voice heard and participate in the Georgia Department of Education climate survey for your school! Your participation and feedback are greatly appreciated. The data collected will help determine the School Climate Star Ratings for the 2026-27 school year, which will enable schools to improve or build upon their successes.
