Spring is here, and with it comes testing season! This is an important time for our students to show what they've learned, and we appreciate your support in helping them do their best.
Testing reminders:
- Ensure students arrive on time and well-rested
- Eat a healthy breakfast the day of the test
- Hydrate the day before the test
- Ensure a positive mindset-remind your child that effort matters!
- Limit screen time the night before tests to support better sleep
- Remind them to take their time and do their best.

Closed Campus
Due to our STAAR Assessments we will have a Closed campus the weeks of April 7-11th and April 21-24th. There will be no parent lunches during these weeks. Thank you for your understanding!
Pre-K Registration

Rees Elementary
Flem Rees Elementary School opened its doors to 650 students on August 20, 1983. It was the thirteenth elementary school built in the Alief Independent School District. In 2024, Rees Elementary began it's transition to a Performing and Visual Arts Academy.
