Chromebook Repairs Rising
We are noticing a drastic uptick in Chromebooks needing repair. Many are starting to come in needing multiple repairs in the same school year. Since the accidental warranty only covers one claim per year, this is a reminder to have conversations at home about students being responsible for their device. Devices should be handled carefully and steps should be taken to keep it operational for daily learning. Repeated repairs due to accidental or intentional damage beyond the one-time warranty claim allowance may result in fees being charged back to the student with an additional technology-misuse fee and/or loss of access to a loaner Chromebook. Families, please review these expectations with your student and thank you for helping us keep Chromebooks in good working condition.

Become an MASD Volunteer!
If you're interested in volunteering in the district, please make sure you have an approved application on file before signing up for events. All volunteers must have an approved application on file prior to checking in at the office. In addition, Volunteers must check in at the kiosk by selecting the VOLUNTEER guest type (not visitor), so the proper screening and admittance is processed.
For more information, please visit our MASD volunteer website or start your application by clicking this link.
Speak Up, Speak Out
MASD is proud to partner with the Wisconsin Department of Justice to use the Speak Up, Speak Out (SUSO) confidential reporting system. SUSO allows students and parents to report weapons, threats of violence, bullying, sexual harassment, threat of suicide, drugs, and any other activity that could potentially endanger students, staff, and property. By using SUSO, students and parents can help keep schools safe, and it’s completely confidential.
Students, parents, school staff, or any community members can submit a school safety concern or threat via a website, mobile phone application, or toll-free number. Resource center staff work around-the-clock to respond to tips and to deploy a response locally by communicating directly with school administrators, law enforcement, and counselors. Nationwide, more than half of public middle and high schools now operate a tipline.
Visit the Speak Up, Speak Out website to learn more or to make a tip.

Mukwonago Veterans Memorial Project
The Mukwonago Veterans Memorial Project is working to create a lasting place of reflection, education, and gratitude in our community. The memorial will be built near Park View Middle School at Veterans Way and Rochester, creating a meaningful space where veterans, service members, families, students, and community members can gather to honor those who have served our country.
This project is about more than building a memorial. It is about creating a permanent place for future generations to learn, remember, and reflect on the sacrifices made by the men and women who served.
The estimated project cost is $500,000, and every donation helps bring this vision to life. All proceeds will go toward the construction of the Mukwonago Veterans Memorial Project, supported by the Wisconsin American Legion Foundation, Inc.
