CLE is excited to welcome CPSD SROs to our campus on Monday, February 24, 2025 for Motivational Monday! They’ll be inspiring and encouraging our students to start the week strong. We appreciate their partnership in mentoring, motivating, and supporting our students at CLE! Thank you for making a difference!

February is National Children’s Dental Health Month. Cavities (also known as caries or tooth decay) are the most common chronic disease of childhood in the United States. Cavities can cause pain, even worse they can lead to infections in other places of the body, like the heart! Tooth decay is often preventable with proper oral hygiene. This month, I will be visiting classrooms talking about the basics and more regarding oral health! Below are some great links to information and activities you can share with your child. I also included a resource for discounted dental care in Conway. If you need assistance in finding a dentist or resources for getting your child dental care, please call me or email me at glennsh@conwayschools.info

I guess the groundhog was correct to see his shadow this year. Winter is still in full force with these below freezing temperatures! For that reason, we will be postponing our upcoming work day in the CLE garden. It was originally planned for February 22nd. We will be moving it to March 1st at 9am instead. Until then, stay warm!
