• Registration is live for the preconference and main conference

• Allegan - Sept. 16th, Jan. 20th, April 13th (10am - 12pm) - register for Allegan meetings (SCECH)
• Kent - Sept. 24th, Jan 14th, April 15th (9am - 11am) - register for each Kent meeting - Sept - Jan - April (SCECH and/or SWCE)

• Submit your final reimbursement requests for the 25/26 grant year by Sept. 10th in the eCivis system (these are expenses between 10/1/25 - 9/30/26)
• Allocations for the 26/27 grant year will be available soon

• ⛺ Check for fall camp and field trip fees - LEAs should first do what you do for any student unable to afford a trip fee and if there is still a cost we can use homeless grant funds to cover it (this also includes library & text books, laptop chargers, and other school related expenses)
• Identify students who are experiencing homelessness and assist with enrollment, even if documents or medical records are not available
• MV students / families do not need to fill out a housing affidavit if they are doubled up due to housing loss / disaster (fire, flood, etc.) with no other housing options
• School of origin - arrange transportation by discussing options with resident district Liaison (sample agreement 1)
• Are you also the Foster Care Liaison? FC is different than MV - read the MDE Best Practices Resource Guide to get started

• Designed for survivors of domestic violence, stalking, and trafficking
• Assigns an address for mail and documents that is not the actual address of the person
• Forwards most mail to the person's actual address
• How this may impact schools - the confidential address will not match the actual address and your LEA may initially flag it as an outside of school boundaries concern
• Advocates at DV shelters and organizations can help apply for this
