BHE Family Fitness Challenge
The BHE Health Fitness Team invites our families to get moving and make memories together this October. Complete the 10 Pumpkin Patch Challenge Activities throughout the month. Check off each pumpkin as your family completes and activity and see if you can finish all 10 by October 31st. Remember, staying active is even more fun when we do it together!
Red Ribbon Week
Let’s pledge to be DRUG FREE! BHE will be participating in National Red Ribbon Week October 26th - 30th. The week will involve daily red ribbon scavenger hunts and a school-wide pledge. We encourage our students to dress up to show their commitment to be drug free!
Attention Spellers!
We are excited to begin preparing our 3rd–5th grade students for the annual Bunker Hill School Spelling Bee!
Our grade-level spelling bees will take place on Wednesday, October 14th. Each student in 3rd–5th grade will complete a written spelling test. The test will begin with words from their grade level and will also include words from higher grade levels, as well as some words that are not on the study list. Study lists will be sent home this week!
Based on the written test results, the top 12 spellers from each grade level will receive a Spelling Bee T-shirt and advance to our School Spelling Bee, which will be held on Wednesday, December 2nd at 8:45 in the BHE Cafeteria. Parents are encouraged to attend and cheer on our spellers!
The winner and runner-up of our School Spelling Bee will go on to represent Bunker Hill at the District Spelling Bee in February. We can't wait to see our students spell their way to success!
If you have any questions, reach out to Jill Melancon, Spelling Bee Coordinator.
2026 BHE International Day

When signing up, please select your child's homeroom teacher, regardless of whether you are volunteering for an AM or PM time slot.

Items don’t have to be on the wish list—any small prizes your child would enjoy or scrapbooking supplies are appreciated!
