RILEY RECAP - VOLUME 5 ISSUE 14
March 14, 2026
From the Desk of Principal Henderson
Dear Riley Parents, Guardians, and Scholars,
We have now reached the end of the third grading period. Parents, guardians, and scholars will receive report cards during our Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday, March 19, 2026. This is a great opportunity to meet with your scholar’s teachers and discuss their academic progress.
As we enter the fourth grading period, I want to encourage all scholars to stay focused and make any adjustments needed to ensure success. There is still time to finish the year strong.
Please do not hesitate to contact your scholar’s teachers or an administrator if you need additional support with your scholar’s academic success.
Thank you for your continued commitment to Riley High School and to your scholar’s success. Together, we will continue to grow and achieve great things.
I can promise you the best of myself for your students each and every day. Please do not hesitate to contact me at shenderson2@sbcsc.k12.in.us if you have any questions or concerns during the year.
Our Goals:
1) Educate the Whole Student
2) Building Meaningful Relationships
3) A 95% attendance rate
4) A 90% graduation rate
We greatly appreciate the value that each and every one of our scholars and families brings to Riley. WE ARE THE PRIDE OF THE SOUTHSIDE! WE ARE #RILEYSTRONG!
Sincerely,
Shawn Henderson
