PBIS Board Game Bananza Day
We are thrilled to share some exciting news! Our Westview Wildcats have been working hard together, following expectations, showing school-wide pride, and making positive choices every step of the way. By doing their best and adding stickers to our ROAR board, students have officially filled the very first letter βRβ! To celebrate their fantastic efforts and achievement, students will be rewarded with a "Board Game Bonanza." On Friday, October 23, 2026, classes will head to the Westview Gym to clear off the tables, bring out the cards and dice, and enjoy a well-earned day of pure delight and board game fun.
No games are needed from home, we have many choices for students to use and enjoy their earned time of fun and games.
Thank you for your continued support as our Wildcats continue to level up and show their ROAR pride!
October PBIS Character Trait
This month, our school focus is Respect. Staff have been and will continue to reinforce this trait with students. Students earning recognition in this area place stickers on the ROAR board or earn a Caught Being Good Card.
To support this initiative, our Student Council members promote our focus trait for each month. Watch Ari's video below to learn about how students can demonstrate Respect around Westview.
Fall Parade and Activities on 10-30 πΊ
πParade - Parade will begin around 9:05 on 10-30. Students will exit the building through the bus doors and walk on the sidewalk around the bus loop and re-enter Westview through the front entrance. Families should stand in the grass or road of the bus loop or front circle entrance creating a clear path for the staff and students to walk on the sidewalk.
ποΈCostumes - Students are not required to wear costumes on October 30th, but students that do participate have the following guidelines:
1. Please choose a costume that does not reflect violence. Inappropriate βpropsβ such as plastic swords, guns, knives, and weapons of any kind are not allowed β even if they are a part of your childβs costume.
2. Masks are permitted to be worn. If the mask your child has contains fluid or something that looks like blood to flow through it, do not send the fluid or container with the fluid to school.
3. If possible, students should wear their costume to school to be prepared for the morning parade.
4. All costumes should maintain the integrity of our school dress code.
π»Food - All food for the classroom events must meet the requirements of the district safe snack list, be prepackaged and in the sealed wrapper with the exception of whole fruit or vegetables. Treats going home in goody bags do not need to meet the safe snack list requirements and must be eaten at home.
