ROAR Report

We made it through our first full week! Thank you for having your students here and on time! It definitely sets the tone for the rest of our day. Due to some supervision adjustments, Kindergarteners will now have the option to play on the kindergarten playground from 8:45-9:00. They still need to hang up their backpack and then may eat breakfast, or go out to play.

¡Hemos terminado nuestra primera semana completa! Gracias por traer a sus estudiantes y asegurarse de que lleguen a tiempo. ¡Definitivamente marca la diferencia para el resto del día!

Debido a algunos ajustes de supervisión, los estudiantes de kínder ahora tendrán la opción de jugar en el patio de juegos de kínder de 8:45 a 9:00. Todavía necesitan colgar su mochila y luego pueden desayunar o salir a jugar.

We use the suggested donation fee to pay for field trips. If you have not had the opportunity to contribute, we (and our students!) would greatly appreciate it! To pay, go to Infinite Campus, click fees, and add the suggested $25 to your cart. Please reach out if you have questions. Thank you!

The last day to order t-shirts/sweatshirts will be September 8th. After, the online store will close, and orders will be filled and delivered.

• We have three buses that drop students off in the morning and pick them up after school.
• If your child rides the bus, please put something in their backpack for them to do each day (a book, something to color, etc..).
• We do not have any control on when the buses arrive, and it is difficult for students to have to sit and wait for long periods of time.
• If any bus is later than 4:00pm, I will send a text to notify parents.

• Tenemos tres autobuses que dejan a los estudiantes por la mañana y los recogen después de la escuela.

• Si su hijo viaja en autobús, por favor coloque algo en su mochila para que pueda hacer cada día (un libro, algo para colorear, etc.).

• No tenemos control sobre la hora de llegada de los autobuses, y es difícil para los estudiantes tener que sentarse y esperar por largos períodos de tiempo.

• Si algún autobús llega después de las 4:00 p. m., enviaré un mensaje de texto para notificar a los padres.

Parents, we will be needing parents volunteers throughout the year for different activities (vision screenings, fund raisers, etc...) Nominations for School Community Council ends on August 29th. On Sept 1st, we will be sending

out ballots to vote on members of the council for this year.

• You must have a student at Taylor Elementary for the 2 years you serve on the council.
• We will meet 6 times from 11:30-12:30

Council is elected by vote.

The council will address many issues that may include Trust Land Plan, Title I Plan, and

School Access Route.

El consejo tratará muchos temas que pueden incluir el Plan de Tierras en Fideicomiso (Trust Land Plan), el Plan de Título I y la Ruta de Acceso a la Escuela.
