At Worsham, we are excited to be sharing our new newsletter tool, Smore! This will allow us to send regular updates, share pictures, and give a head's up for important information.
Last month, we held our annual Spelling Bee hosted by our librarian, Ms. Saavedra. Our Worsham Wildcats did a fantastic job. At the end our Spelling Bee Champ was fourth grader Natalie Villanueva. She will be representing the school in our District competition.
Students are receiving coupons for reading. Each coupon is an opportunity to be a part of our quarterly raffle. Last month, we gave away some amazing prizes from our raffle. This month we will conduct our monthly Genius hour! Genius Hour gives our gifted and talented students an opportunity to collaborate and work on projects together in a fun and welcoming environment. Students will embark an an hourly lesson of discovery and research.
