Parents, Teachers, and Students

Our Day of Excellence Celebration was a huge success!

Many thanks to all who contributed to the festivities, donated items, assisted in an event, and showed up for our students - they had a great time and we would not have been successful without your help. Our district videographer captured the magic, you can see that video below. We're also excited to announce this year's Mr. Bobcat 2025 is Tony Facenda. Our student media team is putting that video together and we'll share it as soon as it's ready.

Today, March 24, students will take the annual school climate survey. We look forward to their input and welcome all constructive feedback to make Bluffton High School the best school in the district, and beyond.

Finally, don't forget the SAT is scheduled for this Thursday, March 27 for registered Juniors. There will be no adjustment to the bell schedule.

An Excellent Four-Peat!

Bobcat Staff Social

Every year Bobcat Staff gets together for an evening of oysters and auctioneering with the specific goal of raising money for the Bobcat Roar Scholarships. This year we succeeded in raising more than $12,000 that will be awarded in $1,000 scholarships to deserving Bobcat Seniors.

Our guidance department does a phenomenal job putting it all together, but if you'd like to help out please don't hesitate to reach out to Dana.house@beaufort.k12.sc.us or make a donation to the PTO Venmo account @Bobcatspto and label it "Bobcat Roar Scholarship"

Volunteer with Youth Sports!

Bluffton Youth Sports is gearing up for another exciting season of youth baseball and softball, and they're reaching out to see Bobcat students might be interested in a great volunteer opportunity!

As a volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, they rely on community support to keep things running—especially in the concession stands at Oscar Frazier Park and M.C. Riley Park.

They have weekly shifts available through mid-May, and this is a great way for students to earn service hours while supporting local youth sports. They're happy to provide documentation for public service credit.

To ensure a safe and secure environment at BCSD athletic events, all spectators and athletes entering our venues will be asked to remove hoods or face coverings that obscure one’s identity, such as balaclava-style masks. This practice, which is common at collegiate athletic events, will help us maintain safety by ensuring individuals can be easily identified if needed.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Please reach out to District Athletic Director Dr. Carlos Cave for any questions.
