What do I do if my child will be absent from school?

All students enrolled in school are required to attend. It is the duty of the parent or guardian to monitor and require the student’s attendance. Parents should call the elementary attendance line at 987-0717 before 9:00am to report their children's absence. After 9:00am and 1:00pm, an automated call may go out to parents whose child has been marked absent from school. If the parent does not contact the school after they receive that call, the absence will be classified as unexcused. This regulation refers to in person and virtual instruction as attendance is taken on virtual days as well.

Elementary Traffic Plan

This page describes the process families should follow when picking up their child(ren) from school at the end of the day by vehicle. Families who pick up their child(ren) by walking should continue to meet them as usual. Our goal in defining this after school procedure for dismissal is to ensure that everyone leaves the school grounds in a safe manner. Please walk to the rectangle at the bottom of the steps to meet your child. We appreciate your attention to this matter.

Meal payments can be made online

Lunch Express is a payment program that allows for online payments for school lunches. This is made possible by using e-funds.

The student ID number for e-funds is the "Other ID" in the general information of Skyward Family Access. This ID is located under your childs picture. Skyward Family Access is located under the "Quick links" tab on our school website .

The family number in e-funds is NOT the “Family ID” in Skyward, but is your “Phone” number in the contact information of Skyward Family Access (without area code or dashes). For example, if the families phone number in Skyward is (608) 987-1234, then the family number is 9871234.

As always, you are welcome to send meal payments to the office with your child. If you have any questions please call 987-0710.
