Welcome back, Dodge families!

We are so excited to begin another great school year and welcome our students and families back to Dodge Elementary. We hope everyone had a wonderful summer and is looking forward to a year filled with learning, growth, and many great memories.

As we prepare for the start of school, please take a few minutes to look through our Back-to-School Slideshow. It includes important updates, reminders, and helpful information to make sure your family is ready for a successful start to the year.

Tuesday, September 1 – Dodge Open House

• Kindergarten families: 5:00–5:45 p.m.
• Grades 1–4 families: 6:00–7:00 p.m.

Monday, September 7 – Labor Day

District closed. No school.

Tuesday, September 8 – First Day of School
Welcome back to school Dodgers!

Monday, September 21 – Yom Kippur

No school for students due to a Superintendent Conference Day.

Tuesday, September 22 – Dodge Dash and Dine

Join us from 3:00–4:30 p.m. for this special event for Dodge students and families.

Welcome back Dodgers! If your child needs to take medication at school, you can drop it off to our school nurse, Mrs. Ayers, in the health office at Dodge on the following dates:

Tuesday, September 1st 10am-1pm

Tuesday, September 1st during Open House (5-7pm)

Thursday, September 3rd 10am-1pm

If these times do not work for you, please contact Mrs. Ayers to make other arrangements.

Please do not drop medication off the first day of school!

Education Law section 926, effective July 1, 2026, requires school districts to provide electronic or written information on water safety to parents/guardians at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year. Additionally, the school district must publish this information on its website. The New York State Department of Health has provided school districts with swim tips regarding drowning prevention, water safety and safe and healthy swimming.

The District has several committees that meet throughout the course of school year and are looking for additional parent/guardian members to join:

• Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC)

• Safety

• Wellness

• Communications
