WLWV Community Update

School registration forms for new or prospective students can be found on the District Website and turned in to your school when school offices open. You can also schedule a time to turn in registration forms by contacting your building principal via email. Families can also call the District Office at 503-673-7000 with registration questions.

With the start of the 2020-21 school year fast approaching, now is a great time to update your ListServ subscriptions. Make sure to access your ListServ subscriptions and subscribe to your new school if you have a student graduating or changing schools. And don't forget to subscribe to WLWV-Homes to keep up-to-date on important District-level information.

ListServ is the primary method that West Linn-Wilsonville schools communicate with families, sending regular newsletters, timely information, and even emergency notifications. To sign up to get news from your school, simply go to www2.wlwv.k12.or.us/News/LatestNews/ListservSS/ and follow the directions.

211 is the first point of contact if parents are interested in reaching out about child care options in the area. Parents will need to have the following information ready when working with 211.

• parent first name and last name
• child’s DOB and first name
• address to search for care (near home or work)
• email address to send referrals
• any childcare requests
• days/times needed

Parents can reach 211 in the following ways:

• Calling 211 1-866-698-6155 . Listen to the prompt for Child Care and press the specified number.
• Texting the keyword “children” or “niños” to 898211 (TXT211).
• Emailing children@211info.org.
• Click here https://orm.naccrraware.net/orm/ormSearch to visit the website

WLWV K12 Online Program Wait List Sign Up Now Closed

• The deadline to sign up for the WLWV K12 Online Program was July 31 and the wait list for the program has been closed. Families who are on the wait list will receive further information about their status for the coming school year this week.
  

All West Linn-Wilsonville School District Facilities remain closed for all district-sponsored and community-organized events under Phase 1 guidance. This includes the use of district playgrounds as well as the use of athletic fields for any and all organized activities.

The community can expect to see an increased presence of district staff around school grounds during the next few weeks as we prepare school sites for use. While fields and building spaces are closed to organized activity, the community can utilize school tracks, field space, and tennis courts for State-approved outside activities. Community members are required to follow all social distancing guidance at all times.

We thank our community for your patience and understanding as we work to make our spaces available once again.
