Broadmoor's Weekly Wildcat News!
May 10, 2026
Congratulations to our 2026 LHS Graduates!
Dear BES Families,
Thank you to our PTO for such a great week, we appreciate all you do for us!
Our 5th graders and teachers once again did an amazing job with our Wax Museum!! They worked so hard and it showed - what a great representation of historical and influential figures we had on display! GREAT JOB!
Don't forget to have your child check our lost and found area, it is full! We also ask that you check your home and vehicles for any library books and send those in this week!! Nurse Candice has information below regarding our health office and medications/medical devices that need to be picked up!
We have two amazing retirees this year - Mary Reno and Diana Moore. You can see the invite for Mrs. Reno below. Mrs. Moore is having a reception during the day, which is not open to the public BUT please know that you can send in well wishes and we will get those to her!
This week we will get to cheer on our 2026 graduates as they walk through BES one final time. I always love this tradition and how fun it is to see our BES alumni accomplishing this huge milestone in their lives. It is so great for our students to see them, their excitement, and know that in a few years that will be them!
I hope everyone enjoyed their Mother's Day weekend!
Have a great week,
Cindy Apple, Principal

Support For Our Families
Hello Wildcat Family and Friends!

Resources include everything from free Prom Boutiques, utility assistance, mental health and so much more. If your family could use a little extra support, we hope you find our Community Resource Guide helpful. Please refer to the contact page on the Community Resource Guide website if you would like further assistance from your child's building Social Worker/Counselor.

Attendance and School Calendar
Please take note of our school calendars when planning your family's vacations.
Attendance is a focus at BES and we want your children at school! It can be very difficult for students to get caught up sometimes when they miss for extended periods of time. For example, when a student misses a week of school, that is up to 450 minutes of math instruction they are missing!
If your family does have a trip planned, we do not provide lessons or materials ahead of those trips. Teachers will work with you to schedule times when your student can be given that instruction and guided work time to ensure mastery of skills. This may have to happen before or after school, but we will also try to work during the school day as well.
GREAT school habits now help prepare students for future success!
