RILEY RECAP - VOLUME 6 ISSUE 1 "Welcome Back Information"
July 24, 2026
From the Desk of Principal Henderson
Welcome Back, Riley Wildcats!
Welcome back to the start of the 2026–27 school year! While we still have several weeks before classes begin, the faculty and staff at Riley High School wanted to share some important information to help you and your family prepare for a successful start to the school year.
We understand that some families receiving this message may not be enrolled at Riley High School for the 2026–27 school year. At this time, our communication list is based on current enrollment records. Once PowerSchool has completed the annual rollover and enrollment has been finalized, we will have a more accurate student roster.
Thank you for being a part of the Riley High School community. We are excited to welcome our returning Wildcats and look forward to an outstanding school year filled with learning, growth, and success.
Thank you for being Wildcats, and welcome back!
I can promise you the best of myself for your students each and every day. Please do not hesitate to contact me at shenderson2@sbcsc.k12.in.us if you have any questions or concerns during the year.
Our Goals:
1) Focused on Learning (The Whole Child).
2) Committed to Safety.
3) Respectful to All.
WE ARE THE PRIDE OF THE SOUTHSIDE!
WE ARE #RILEYSTRONG!
Sincerely,
Shawn Henderson
