Patriot Nation,

We had such a great week at Jack and look forward to another one, before our fall break next Friday. Our first Watch D.O.G.S (dads of great students) arrived this week and it was awesome to have them on campus serving our Patriots. Please don't forget next week we will have a short week, with early release on Thursday and Fall Break on Friday with no school. Please see information below about our October STEM Challenge. We also have Kona Ice and our first session of our Sharpen the Saw Clubs. I can't believe we are wrapping up the First Nine Weeks of school. It has been an exciting start and we can't wait to continue Building the Legacy of Leading and Learning!

- Please drop off by 7:50. Our tardy bell rings at that time and we want our Patriots ready to learn with us.

- We cannot release kids after 2:45 due to dismissal procedures. If you have appointments, please make arrangements to pick up by this time.

- If you are dropping off before 7:15, please use the back loop. This area is staffed and students are directed to the cafe or gym. After 7:15, our front loop will be open.

Next Friday, October 14th, Tyler ISD and Jack Elementary will be closed for fall break. We will also have early release on Thursday, October 13th. Car riders and walkers will be released at 12:30 and bus routes will run no later than 1:00. Boys and Girls Club will not be serving our campus on these days as well. Please make arrangements so we can get our Patriots home safely. Thanks!

We have spent the past weeks learning about the 7 Habits here at Jack. Our Leaders in the classroom start their day every morning with a quick meeting, and it is centered around our 7 Habits. Our KJAC crew highlights a habit each week, and we continually stress the importance of using the habits daily. Coming soon we will be providing an at-home connection from our wonderful counselor Mrs. Boyd. This is a tool that you can use at home, to make that connection to our Patriots. That is a Win-Win for all of us!
