Greetings, Spartan Families!
It's officially Homecoming Week at Smithfield-Selma High School, and we are excited to celebrate a week filled with school spirit, Spartan traditions, and community pride! We look forward to bringing our students, staff, families, and community together as we celebrate what it means to be a Spartan.
As we prepare for an exciting week, please take a moment to review the upcoming events and important reminders.

Get ready to fill the stands with Spartan spirit! Our Spartans will take on Fuquay-Varina High School at 7:00 p.m. Come dressed in your Spartan gear, bring your school spirit, and help us cheer our team on to victory!
📌 Important School Reminders
As we celebrate Homecoming Week, we ask families to continue supporting our daily school procedures:
Early Checkouts: Please make arrangements to check students out before 1:30 p.m. to help minimize movement as we prepare for afternoon dismissal.
Morning Arrival: The tardy bell rings promptly at 7:10 a.m. Please encourage students to arrive on time and ready to learn.
Student Drop-Off & Pick-Up: All student drop-offs and pick-ups should take place at the rear of the school to help maintain a safe and efficient traffic flow.
💙💛 Celebrating the Spartan Way!
While Homecoming is a time for excitement and celebration, we encourage all students to remain focused on their academics, attend classes on time, and demonstrate positive behavior throughout the week. Let's show our Spartan pride not only through our school spirit but also through our actions, respect, and commitment to excellence.
Thank you, Spartan Families, for your continued partnership, encouragement, and support. Together, let's make Homecoming 2026 a safe, spirited, and unforgettable celebration!
