Ruben A. Cirillo High School is proud to announce that a new class of students will be inducted into the National Honor Society on February 5, 2026. This year, twenty outstanding students have earned membership, joining the fourteen current members of our chapter. Selection into NHS reflects a student’s commitment to scholarship, leadership, service, and character, and we commend these students for their dedication and hard work. We look forward to celebrating their accomplishments at this special induction ceremony.
Academic Honors Marking Period Two
Random Acts of Kindness Day
We will have our 4th annual District-wide celebration of Random Acts of Kindness [RAOK] Day on Friday, February 13th from 1:00-2:10 PM. We will follow our 1:00pm event schedule. The Elementary School students love this annual event and it is awesome to see the HS students be leaders and role models for our younger students. As in previous years, HS and MS classes will be partnered with ES classes and have a variety of activities for students to choose from. It will be a great way to end the week before we head into the February Break.
Spring Sports Registration
Athletic registration for varsity spring sports is now open. Athletic opportunities include boys and girls varsity lacrosse, varsity baseball, varsity softball, varsity boys and girls track and field, and varsity girls flag football. Click here for directions and links to register.
Varsity spring sports begin on March 9th. Student-athletes who have not finalized and submitted their registration will be ineligible to participate until all requirements are met. This may impact their ability to attend early scrimmages and competitions. Please ensure that the registration process is completed and that student-athlete physicals are up to date.

Theatre Tech
Here is what it's like for our Theater Tech students working on the fly... the class involves a lot of physical labor.
The HS has 10 sets of pipes that need to be restacked/reweighted. Each of the "bricks" they are moving weigh 27.5 lbs. They are notched to allow for easier removal and have to be alternated. The yellow weights are the weight of the empty pipe and then weights have to be added to offset the weight on stage at a 1:2 ratio (called a double purchase set.) The set they are working on required 40 weights, about 1100 lbs.
