September 2023
Got a news tip?
Hi! Thanks for being a part of our Fall Mountain family. We're working on communications to share news from local partners, create structure for those partnerships, and help amplify messages that will help our students and their families.
We recognize that Fall Mountain is not only the people inside our buildings, but is supported by an incredible network of businesses, agencies, organizations, and taxpayers. It's an ecosystem and we're glad you're a part of it.
We look forward to engaging more with you. Make sure you send us your news - the easiest way is to send an email to news@sau60.org.

From New Hampshire Hunger Solutions: Breakfast Changes Lives
Why breakfast?
Children with hungry bodies and preoccupied minds cannot perform to their highest potential in the classroom (click here to see some research). Regardless of the reason that children do not eat breakfast before reaching the classroom, children of all ages do better in school when they start the day with the strong foundation of a good breakfast.
From Southwest Community Services: Fuel Assistance Application Time
SCS is getting ready for the next Fuel Assistance program year; the team starts the program by mailing out applications to recertifying households on fixed income. Households can begin calling either office (Claremont, 542-9528 or Keene, 352-7512) in late August to book a phone interview or in person appointment; just a reminder that the Claremont Fuel Assistance Program is now located on Pleasant St!

Alumni Spotlight
Kyle Perham FMRHS Class of 2020
ITS Technician, Fall Mountain Regional District
Superintendent's Extraordinary Award, June 2022
When I was a student at Fall Mountain, the technology department provided me with an opportunity I could only dream of. As a sophomore, they took me in as an intern cleaning and repairing computers. I assisted with many other tasks and learned so much from them over the next two and half years. Then came my time to graduate. The technology director asked me if I would stay on and become one of the technicians that help to keep our district moving forward.
I have now worked at Fall Mountain for several years and cannot be more happy with where I am in life. I leave work every day with a smile on my face knowing that I have done something to better our students.
