Students at assembly
zoom_out_map

We had our final Character Traits assembly this week. Getting together as an entire school each month has been such a rewarding experience. We’ve loved recognizing kids for their positive contributions to Hawks View, giving students an opportunity to practice public speaking and watch our staff have some competitive fun. We look forward to carrying this into next year! We’ve had so many parents/caregivers able to join us at assemblies and we are grateful to have shared those moments with you.

Our 4th Graders embarked on the Oregon Trail today! They walked 5 miles to their Snyder Park destination where they had lunch, played games, did some line dancing and made crafts. We are grateful to the teachers for all of the time and work that goes into planning this event and to the many families who volunteered their time, helped assemble wagons, etc. Our kids were all smiles (mixed with exhaustion!) as they made their way back to the school this afternoon.

SHS Girls Softball Team Headed to the State Championship! SHS Girls Softball Team Headed to the State Championship!

Come join the Sherwood Booster Club to send off our Girls Softball team in style as they travel to Eugene for their game against North Medford and compete for the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP.

We will be gathering on Kruger Road near Countryside Church at 9:45 am Saturday morning to give them a proper send off. Bring signs, friends, family members, pom poms...whatever you have to show your support for our Sherwood community and our softball team. These girls have worked very hard and showed dedication, care and commitment for years. Come give them the support they deserve as they represent Sherwood in the State Championship game!

Parking is available in the softball field parking lot, and fans can walk down to Kruger to send them off. See you there!
