Dear Tiger families,

We're heading into the toughest part of the year. Everyone's exhausted, testing is coming, and showing up gets harder right when it matters the most. We want to partner with you to help your student finish strong. This newsletter has helpful resources for you.

Every student, every day πŸ’ͺ🏽

    Good habits

Coming to school regularly is one of the most important commitments high school students can make to their future. Each day in class builds knowledge, critical thinking skills, and confidence that cannot be fully replaced by studying alone at home. Beyond academics, school provides structure, which helps students develop healthy habits such as time management, responsibility, and consistent routines. These habits often carry into adulthood, supporting success in college, careers, and personal goals. Equally important are the relationships formed at school. Friendships, mentorships with teachers, and involvement teach communication, teamwork, empathy, and conflict resolution. By showing up each day and engaging both academically and socially, students create a strong foundation not only for graduation, but for a balanced, healthy, and connected life.

Your student matters to us. We notice when they're here. We notice when they're not. Let's finish this year strong together πŸ™Œ

    IXL Growth Celebration

Growth in math and English comes through consistent practice and effort. In math, regularly solving problems strengthens logical thinking, improves accuracy, and builds confidence in tackling more challenging concepts. Mistakes are not failuresβ€”they are opportunities to understand where thinking can improve. In English, reading often expands vocabulary, strengthens comprehension, and exposes students to different perspectives, while writing regularly sharpens communication skills and clarity of thought. Just like athletes train their muscles, students train their brains through practice. Over time, small daily efforts lead to noticeable progress, helping high school students become stronger critical thinkers, better problem-solvers, and more effective communicators.
