LHS Weekly Update

9th and 10th graders will take the Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP). This is a multi-year process that helps students and their families explore post-secondary education and career options.

11th graders will complete the digital readiness checklist and prepare their Bluebook app in preparation for taking the National Merit Qualifying Test (NMSQT) in October.

12th graders will complete a short lesson on resume writing and then begin writing their resumes.

The LTP Student iPad Insurance window for the 2024-2025 school year opened August 1st and closes on September 15th. Parents who wish to join the insurance pool for this year will need to make at least a partial payment within this window.

This insurance fee was added for every eligible student K-12 on August 1st. Please note that any student with an unpaid balance for iPad insurance from the previous year will not be eligible to join the pool this year until they pay off the previous year’s balance.

2024-2025 LTP Student iPad Insurance: $25

The iPad insurance fee will be reduced or waived for students eligible for a free or reduced price lunch under the federal poverty income guidelines and homeless students as defined by McKinney-Vento.

The Infinite Campus Parent Portal App is a great resource to help you stay up-to-date with your student's immunizations. When you open your child's information, under the drop-down menu in the upper left corner click More > Health > Immunizations, you'll see what they are compliant with or in need of.

If you need to file an exemption or need resources to get an appointment for immunizations for your student, check out Weld County Clinic or the Boulder County Clinic.
