Eagle Update

We enjoyed seeing our Eagles and their families during our Curriculum Night! If you were unavailable to attend, please connect with your child's classroom teacher for information about the school year. Some school-wide information shared includes:

- Our school-wide School Improvement Plan identifies actions staff will take in improving students' reading, math and social-emotional growth.

- We are beginning this new school year with new classroom materials, additional teaching tools for our interventionists, and extended learning time opportunities

- On behalf of the staff, we ask for your cooperation with attendance. Absenteeism accounts for 20% of our rating on the Illinois Report Card! Students should not miss more than 5% of the school year, equivalent to 8 missed school days. Student absence **significantly** impacts our rating each school year. This includes late arrivals and early dismissals.

- Stay connected with school staff via Seesaw and via emails, and via messages on Infinite Campus Parent Portal. 99% of our communication is digital!
