Choir Concert Recap!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the choir concert on May 8th!
It was a fantastic evening filled with incredible performances from our 6th–12th grade choir students—a perfect way to close out the year with music and celebration. If you weren’t able to attend, no worries! You can still enjoy the concert by clicking the buttons below to watch the performances.
End of the Year Concert
Join us for our final full-school Peotone concerts of the year this May! It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate all the hard work and musical growth our students have achieved. The concert begins at 7:00 PM, with doors opening at 6:45 PM. Please see the form attached below about more details for the choir concert. We’d love to see you there to support our amazing young musicians!

Six Flags Trip!
Thank you to all the chaperones that are willing to help with the day. It really makes the process of everything go so much smoother!

With 5th grade band ending this week, I wanted to take a second and express how fortunate I am to have worked with so many special people at Peotone Intermediate Center. Thank you to everyone in the building that supports the kids ambition with music and has helped with set up or the other thousands of things we have needed help with over the course of the year. Thank you to Ms. Tekiela who has been such as a supportive and wonderful principal to be around and is always looking in the best interest of the students. A special thank you to Mr. Stefans for his phenomenal guidance, great sense of humor, and overall great person to be around everyday day.

Registration Deadline Extended
The registration deadline for the New York trip has been extended to Monday, May 18th! Registration details are posted on the New York Google Classroom page (code to join this page: yimp24hf). Parents and students who have any questions about this exciting trip being planned, please reach out ASAP to Mr. Kowalski (bkowalski@peotoneschools.org) or Ms. Marshall (emarshall@peotoneschools.org). We have already received many registrations but want to extend the deadline for more to come along and experience this fantastic tour of NYC! Any student still interested in going on this exciting trip next school year must register and submit their deposit by May 18th!
Fine Arts Award Night
Join us on Tuesday, May 21st for a special evening celebrating our talented students at the Spaghetti Dinner and Fine Arts Awards Night! From 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., enjoy a delicious spaghetti dinner with family and friends—all while supporting the music program, as this meal serves as an important fundraiser for our department. The dinner is a paid event, with tickets available for presale. Then, at 6:30 p.m., join us for the Fine Arts Awards—a free event open to everyone in the community—where we will recognize the hard work and achievements of our students in music, art, and more. We hope you’ll join us for a night of great food, inspiring performances, and well-deserved recognition!

Dinner prices are $15 per person, $35 for a family of 3, $40 for a family of 4, and $50 for a family of 5. We hope to see you there for a night of good food, great music, and well-deserved recognition!
Graduation Performances
Graduation ceremonies for Peotone High School and Junior High are just around the corner! The Junior High School graduation will take place on May 22nd at 7:00 PM, and the High ceremony is on May 23rd at 7:00 PM. Students should plan to arrive around 5:30 p.m. at the PHS auditorium.
Memorial Day Performance
The Peotone American Legion hosts a wonderful Memorial Day program at the Peotone Cemetery each year, where the Peotone High School Band has the honor of performing the Melody of Hymns for the military. This year's event will take place on Monday, May 26th, with the program starting at 10:30 AM, following the parade from the Legion to the cemetery at 10:00 AM. We invite you to join us in supporting this meaningful tradition!
