Hawk Families - IT'S TIME TO BUY TICKETS and try to WIN a NEW CAR!!! Hawthorne and D91 are partnering with TETON TOYOTA for an important fundraising raffle! Every student brought home a manilla envelope with their name and a ticket tracking list on it. Their goal is to sell at least ONE ticket and of course we will offer prizes for students who sell more than one ticket (see below).

OUR GOAL as a SCHOOL is to raise money to complete our walking path, buy new basketball supports, and to start saving for new, handicapped-accessible playground equipment and other fun things at school!

1. Only sell tickets to people you know, if your parent can take your envelope to work with them, that could be a great place to sell some tickets.

2. Ask how many tickets they would like to buy, collect their money (CASH or Check) $10/ticket.

• Write checks to "Hawthorne Elementary"

3. Put their money in your envelope and have them write their name and phone number on the lines.

4. Bring your envelope back to school, give it to your teacher and they will send it down to the office.

5. School staff will enter the ticket buyer's name and phone number on the ticket stub and submit it for the drawing which will be held at the Tiger-Grizz Track meet on Friday, April 25. (A physical copy of the ticket will be available at the school office).

6. The raffle winner will be called after the drawing, they do not need to be present to win.

7. All Raffle Envelopes need to be turned in by Friday, April 18. (We will take them to the D91 raffle organizer on 4/23).

***Remember - our goal is to raise money to complete our walking path, buy new basketball supports, and start saving money for NEW , HANDICAPPED-ACCESIBLE PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT!!!

3rd - 6th Grade students will be taking their ISATS the days listed below. Please be sure you help your student do their best by being sure they get a good night's sleep, eat a good breakfast (at school or at home) and get to school on time. We will also be sending home "encouragement posters" for YOU to fill out and send back to encourage your student - reach out to their teacher if you don't see it come home next week.

ISAT dates - 2025

Thurs. 4/17/25 ISAT MATH CAT @ 9:30 (CAT = Computer Adaptive Test)

Parents of returning D91 students should have received a link by email to complete those registrations.

Please encourage any new neighbors to register their children for school as soon as possible!

Parents of students who are either entering Kindergarten or Grade 1-6 students who are new to the district should go to: www.ifschools.org

Please complete these registrations as soon as possible in order to secure a spot at your zoned school.

Kindergarten students must be five years old by

September 1, 2025 to qualify.

Immunizations required are:

5 - DTP 3 - Hepatitis B

2 - Polio 2 - Hepatitis A

2 - MMR 2 - Varicella

Waiver applications for open-enrollment are

available on the district website and will be

accepted or denied on August, 2025.
