Summer Reading Reminder
Reading over the summer keeps studentsโ skills sharp, prevents learning loss, and helps them return to school confident and ready to learn. When kids read what they enjoy, they build strong habits, expand their knowledge, and stay connected to the joy of learningโall of which support longโterm academic success. To help promote student reading over the summer, BCSD is once again partnering with the Medina County District Library. We encourage our students to participate in their annual summer game. Please check out the Summer Reading and Enrichment page on the BCSD website for additional resources.

Trike & Bike
The Trike & Bike registration campaign officially launched on Tuesday! To kick things off, students throughout the district viewed a video about pediatric cancer, produced by Brunswick High School student Tyler Valentine. Trike & Bike was founded by Brunswick City Manager Carl DeForest and inspired by the courageous fight of BCSD student Collin Nemet. Over the past five years, the initiative has generated more than $237,000 for cancer research. Beyond the impressive fundraising totals, this event empowers students by showing them that they can have fun while making a meaningful difference in their community.
