Buenas tardes familias de James John,

A medida que avanzamos en octubre, recuerdo todos los maravillosos cambios que ocurren durante este tiempo. Los estudiantes se adaptan a sus rutinas, mis caminatas matutinas comienzan a requerir una chaqueta y la brisa fresca de la tarde me recuerda que ha llegado el otoño. Es mi época favorita del año.

Nuestra primera asamblea de estudiantes del mes fue un éxito y esperamos tener mejores asambleas a lo largo de este año escolar. Esta semana veremos nuestra primera reunión del Consejo Escolar; si está interesado en asistir, nos reuniremos el miércoles 2 de octubre de 5 a 6:30 pm. Discutiremos nuestra visión y misión escolar y compartiré un informe de progreso de los logros académicos de nuestra escuela del año pasado y en qué planeamos enfocarnos este año.

El viernes 4 de octubre será un día ocupado aquí en la Escuela Primaria James John, comenzamos el día con nuestra Hora De Café, es el día de las fotografías y terminamos el día con nuestra reunión de limpieza de los terrenos escolares.

Good afternoon James John Families,

As we move into October, I am reminded of all the wonderful changes that happen during this time. Students settling into routines, my morning walks start requiring a jacket and the cool breeze in the afternoon reminds me that Fall has arrived. It is my favorite time of the year.

Our first Student of the Month assembly was a success and we look forward to having better assemblies throughout this school year. This week will see our first Site Council gathering, if you are interested in attending we will be meeting Wednesday, Oct. 2nd from 5 - 6: 30 pm. We will be discussing our school vision and mission and I will be sharing a progress report of our school’s academic achievements from last year and what we plan to focus on this year.

Friday, October 4th is going to be a busy day here at James John ES, we start the day with our Hora De Cafe, it is picture day and we end the day with our School Grounds Clean Up gathering.
