School Improvement Committee
This team just finished their 6th grade competition in which classes were measured on five metrics: kind language, having their own computer, having all materials needed for class, 90% of students on time, and 3 or fewer redirects per period. Thank you to all teachers for their support!

The Sunshine Committee made, laminated, and hung positive affirmations in first floor bathrooms!
Club Committee
The Club Committee is creating a survey for 6th graders to see what types of clubs they would like to see added and to help students feel a sense of belonging.
Events and Festivities Committee
The Events and Festivities is hoping to plan two events--a 6th grade Carnival for students and families on a spring Saturday AND an end of year dance! Stay tuned!
Field Trip Committee
The field trip committee wants to give a chance to visit a site in DC that isn't usually visited in class (the US Botanical Gardens!) and then enjoy an afternoon together on the Mall!
