Knowledge From College

March 2023

Dear Pirate Families,

March is upon us and with that comes warmer weather, spring break and the end of quarter 3! February has been a very busy month as we have had our third grade and fifth grade students visit Pasco Hernando State College and our fourth graders visit Saint Leo University. Our fifth graders began choosing their courses for their 6th grade year and we celebrated kindness week.

On Thursday, March 8 from 4:00 - 6:30 pm we have a fun filled science night planned for you all! Please see the flyer for more information when you scroll through this newsletter. It is important that you RSVP so that we can have an acurate count for several of our science stations that have consumable supplies. We will also have the Scholastic Bookfair in the media center. We hope you can join us!

As we ramp up for quarter 4, we have many fun opportunities for our students to be part of. On March 6th, we will have a drum circle on campus for all the classes to participate in during specials, we will celebrate Student of Quarter 3 at our quarterly breakfast, we have several more field trips scheduled and we are planning an Adventure of the AARRTS on April 27 for our students to show off their artwork and our 4th and 5th graders will perform for us. We also will have a community drum circle for everyone to enjoy.

Please remember report cards are available on March 28th on the myStudent Portal, and please schedule a conference with your child's teacher's to discuss this year's progress. We look forward to continuing to serve our community.

Thank you for your partnership in education!

My husband, Zach, and I recently got married and we are currently living in Wesley Chapel with our husky, Nymeria, and our two cats, Natasha and Serena. In my free time I love to read, watch movies, spend time with family, and go to Disney with my husband.
