New Website & Program Guide Is Live

We have made important changes to how our Program Guide is presented online. These updates ensure that our website and programs are accessible to everyone in our community.

While the format of the Program Guide may look a little different than in the past, the new system actually makes finding programs much easier.

Instead of scrolling through a traditional digital guide, families can now search for programs directly on our website. Simply type a keyword such as the activity name, grade level, or interest (for example: soccer, art, dance, music, or STEM), and the available classes will appear right away.

This new search feature allows you to quickly find the programs that best match your interests without having to flip through pages of a guide.

We understand that this will be an adjustment for many of our families who are used to the previous format. Our goal with these updates is to make registration and program discovery faster, easier, and more accessible for everyone.

Behind every class, camp, and program is a small but dedicated team working hard to make Community Education programs possible for our families.

Our team includes:
Lizzi McNamara – Director of Community Education and Recreation

ElizabethMcNamara@wlcsd.org

Katie Swinehart – Recreation Coordinator (Registration, Social Media, Program Schedule)

Kaitlinswinehart@wlcsd.org

Gail Darby – Enrichment Community Education Secretary (After School Enrichment Actives)

GailDarby@wlcsd.org

Carol Fredin – League Coordinator (Coaches Zone and Leagues)

CarolFredin@wlcsd.org

Together, we work to bring engaging programs, enrichment opportunities, and recreational activities to our community. If you ever have questions or need assistance finding a program, we are always happy to help.

We are very excited about this change and hope the new website helps you quickly find the programs you love.

Thank you for being a part of the Walled Lake Community Education community. We look forward to seeing you in our upcoming programs!
