🎉Ideas for embracing the New Year as a family ✨

✨ A New Year is a fresh start & it's a great time to refocus as a family. 🥳

Here are some ideas:

  • Set Family Goals: Collaborate on goals for the year, like spending more quality time together or learning a new skill as a family.
  • Create a Family Tradition: Start a new tradition, like a monthly game night, family dinners, or a gratitude jar.
  • Declutter Together: Use the new year as a time to organize your home as a team, donating items you no longer need.
  • Plan Fun Adventures: Make a family bucket list of activities or places to explore in the coming year.
  • Focus on Wellness: Incorporate healthy habits like family walks, trying new recipes, or mindfulness exercises.
  • Celebrate Achievements: Reflect on last year’s milestones and celebrate what you accomplished together.
  • Practice Gratitude: Begin a daily or weekly gratitude practice to build positivity and connection.

Embrace the New Year as an opportunity to grow closer, support one another, and make meaningful memories together! 🎉

🎮📱💻Tech Topic of the month: What's the Fuss with ChatGPT and Artificial Intelligence?

ChatGPT, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to generate text, is making headlines. Should kids use it? Check out Common Sense's Guide to ChatGPT for Parents and Caregivers to find out how the tool works and how to talk with your kids about it. AI tech is a big part of our lives, so it's important to guide kids to use the programs appropriately and responsibly. When it comes to using tech for schoolwork, make sure to discuss the importance of checking the credibility of sources and help them understand what plagiarism is. Plus, talk about AI tools your kids might already use, like voice assistants on devices or educational apps.
