Welcome back, Bears!

Hello Sierra Bonita Families,

We hope your summer was filled with fun, family, and plenty of time to recharge. We are excited to welcome our students back and begin another great year together.

Thank you, parents, for trusting us with your children and for being such an important part of our school community. We are looking forward to a year filled with learning, growth, friendships, and lots of great memories.

We’re so glad to have our Bears back! Let’s have a great year!

Sincerely,

Mr. Gull

Principal

Drop Off and Pick Up Map

Our goal is to keep all students, families, and patrons safe while visiting Sierra Bonita Elementary. Please follow the traffic guidelines shown on the map and keep these important reminders in mind:

  • Pull all the way forward in the drop-off and pick-up lanes so cars behind you can continue moving and sidewalks remain clear.
  • Please do not block sidewalks when pulling into the pull-through lanes. Use good judgment and make sure your vehicle will fit safely in the designated lanes.
  • Stay in your vehicle while waiting in the drop-off and pick-up lanes. If you need to get out of your vehicle, please park in a designated parking space.
  • Do not enter or block the bus lane.
  • Be patient and drive carefully while on school grounds and on the surrounding roads. There are a lot of students, families, and staff moving around during arrival and dismissal.

Thank you for helping us keep Sierra Bonita safe!

Back to School Night August 24th

We invite you to join us for Back to School Night on Monday, August 24th, from 6:00–7:00 PM.

The purpose of this evening is to give parents a more in-depth look at our school, classroom, and learning expectations and to help you better understand what your student will experience this year.

We will begin in the auditorium with a message from Mr. Gull, followed by two rotations in your student’s classroom with their teacher. If you have multiple students and need more than two rotations, we are happy to meet with you individually as needed.

We will also have a drawing for prizes throughout the evening!

Our goal is to build strong communication and teamwork between parents and educators so that, together, we can help every student have a successful school year.

We look forward to seeing you!
