We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Break and a great start to the holiday season! I hope everyone is staying healthy. We are quickly approaching Winter Break. Thank you to our amazing PTA for setting up our Santa Shop! The library has been transformed for a great shopping area for our students to purchase holiday items for their families and friends. We couldn't do this without you! We have another exciting month of fun activities.

• Our Character Education focus word of the month is GRATITUDE.
• December 5th-9th is Santa Shop!
• December 15- PTA Snack Cart
• December 16- Classroom Winter Parties (teachers will reach out with more information)
• December 19-January 3- Winter Break!

* Our 4th Graders are putting on the Freedom Can Food Drive! Each class is collecting cans as part of a Project Based Learning task that they are completing. The cans will then be donated for the holiday season! If you would like to donate cans, simply send those in with your student December 5-14. Each class that brings in 50 cans will earn a reward on December 16 and the class that brings in the most cans will earn a special reward on December 16th! Thank you for helping with our 4th grade project.*

Operation Santa/Toys for Tots is still taking sign ups thru December 20th. To sign up, please call 957- 4444. Children 18 and younger who are still in school are eligible. You will need to speak with someone, they cannot return voicemails.

Please remember to get a doctor note when you take your student to the doctor to avoid using your parent notes!

You get 10 doctor notes and 6 parent notes per year.

Please remember to have your ID ready at the door to enter the building at each visit.

Please email me your child’s pictures that may have been taken during your child’s Grandparent lunch and/or Life Outside of Freedom pictures. This includes any and all hobbies, sports, vacation pics, etc. that have nothing to do with school. I will try to use them. My email is lisa.goodin@bullitt.kyschools.us
