October is National Principals Month, and we’re proud to celebrate the leaders at the heart of our Killeen ISD schools.

Every day, our principals set the tone on their campuses. They support teachers and staff, build strong connections with families, and create environments in which students can learn, grow and feel a sense of belonging.

This month, we invite our KISD community to join us in thanking our principals for the many ways they lead, encourage and serve. Their work is a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when we move forward together.

KISD Administration is on the Move!

The move to Killeen ISD’s new Administration Building is underway! District departments are relocating in phases to 777 N. Twin Creek Drive through Oct. 30.

Services will continue throughout the transition, but departments may be operating from different locations as the move progresses. Planning an in-person visit? Call 254-336-0000 before you go to confirm where the department you need is located.

Everything’s Bigger in Texas... Even the Mums!

Killeen High School is celebrating Homecoming in a BIG way with a larger-than-life mum that puts a creative spin on a beloved Texas tradition.

The display also highlights the hands-on skills students can learn through Killeen ISD’s Floral Design program, bringing together school spirit, tradition and Career and Technical Education in one unforgettable project.

See Something. Say Something. Help Keep KISD Safe.

Keeping our schools safe takes all of us. Students, staff and families are encouraged to speak up when they see or hear something concerning, whether it happens at school, online or in the community.

If something doesn’t seem right, don’t assume someone else will report it. Concerns can be shared anonymously through KISDisSAFE.com. What you share could make a difference.
