A Weekly Update from NRMS - April 17, 2026
Hello NRMS Families,
We finished the week with the final four of our 3rd annual 8th Grade Cornhole Tournament. One team from each of the four Houses reached the final four and played the final matches of the tournament in the gym with the whole school cheering them on. We look forward to next year's tournament, which serves as a nice community building activity for the whole school and a special privilege for our 8th graders. Mr. Barr (Blizzard House) and Mr. Peterson (Hurricane House) have reached the final four in each year of the tournament, so 7th graders on those Houses that are looking ahead should be recruiting them as partners soon. LOL!
Have a wonderful April Vacation Week! When we return from the break, students will have a solid nine weeks left in the school year. Let's partner together to keep students attending school every day, coming to school ready to learn, and using these last nine weeks as "spring training"; working to strengthen their scholarly skills every day until the end of June.
