June - July MTV Update
Summer Newsletter
WE ARE OFFICIALLY ON SUMMER BREAK!
Our main office will be closed for summer break. We will reopen on August 24th. Dr. Ness will be checking e-mails periodically. If you have any questions, please send an email and she will respond as soon as possible.
Back-to-School Shopping will be just around the corner. Or perhaps you are already looking for those great deals for school supplies. Here is next year's School Supply List for MTV!
Do you have a student that will be in Kindergarten next year? It is time to get registered and sign up for Kindergarten jump start, which will be August 25th and 26th, 9AM - 11:30AM! REGISTER FOR JUMP START HERE!
As we look into our upcoming summer break, we want to remind everyone of the wonderful "choice boards" that our Librarian, Mrs. Ranney, has put together for our students. You can find them by going to Summer Reading Rewards. We challenge our students to improve their reading levels so that when they return, they are in the next level of books.
Please remember toys are to be kept at home as they become a distraction at school. If your student's teacher has a special event to allow stuffies or other items, they will let you know.
Pick Up and Drop Off. At the start of the year, teachers will send home two placards with your student. Please put the placard in the front window of your vehicle to assist us with efficiency of connect you and your student. Please help us keep students and family safe. If you are doing curbside pick-up or drop-off, please do not let your students out until you have passed the crosswalk. We also encourage having your student in the passenger side of the car to support their safety as they exit the vehicle. If you are walking up to the school, please park your car in a parking space - do not park on the driveway or curb. This will help expedite student pick-up/drop-off and keep everyone safe.
CONFETTI FOCUS: Next year, as a district, we will be adopting "Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe" as our PBIS focus.
