Dear Lubbock-Cooper Families,
We are sending you this letter to invite you to partner in feeding hungry kids in Lubbock-Cooper ISD. At St. Luke’s Methodist Church, it is our privilege to support Lubbock-Cooper Central, North, South, and West Elementary Schools by providing what we call “Snack Packs” for children who need a care package of nutritional food over the weekends. Each week we deliver 138 snack packs to children in need.
The cost for each “Snack Pack” is $6, which totals $240 per child, per year. This ministry is financially supported by Lubbock-Cooper parents, members of our church, area businesses, and other persons in our community who care about kids.
If you would like to invest in these children and their well-being this school year, just visit https://egrace.breezechms.com/form/293672 or mail a check to St. Luke’s at 3708 45th Street, Lubbock Texas 79423. In the memo line of your check, please specify “Hands of Jesus,” which is the name of the "snack pack" ministry.
Gratefully,
Dr. Andy Hurst
Senior Pastor, St. Luke's Methodist Church
