Greetings PHMS Students and Families,

Can you believe it? It's almost October. The year has been full of learning and Pirate Pride. Our football team and basketball teams continue to compete and win. Our cheerleaders are some of the loudest around. Come support the Pirate Nation when you are able. Win or lose: Nothing beats hearing the kids cheering one another on from the stands!

The quarter ends in two weeks. Please take advantage of the after-school tutoring if your child needs additional time and/or help. This is also a great time to work on chromebook assignments if needed.

1) We are here to learn!

2) There are 34 adults here everyday to help ALL students and families! You Can Count of Us

3) We work as a team to make sure Every student completes Every assignment! ICU=Digital To Do List (Check out login information below)

4) Student Council Officer Breakfast-The team met with me to plan their upcoming Pirate Time Assembly. Great Group of Leaders

5) 4-H Clubs met and many kids wish we could do these everyday. :)

6) Lunch and Learn: A representative from the Polk Co. Health Department has monthly lunch and learn opportunites for our students. We are fortunate for this community outreach!

7) ICU Competition Winners: 7th grade and 5th grade (Sweet treats for the grades with the fewest missing assignments.)
