End of Course (EOC) Assessed Courses:
Students taking courses with an EOC component can waive the final exam requirement. To ensure students are well prepared for their EOC test and to qualify for the final exam waiver, the student must demonstrate/agree to the following criteria for exam waiver consideration for all scheduled EOC tested courses:
Students must take the EOC as scheduled for the associated course
Students must be on track to earn a C or better for the final grade in the course
Students must earn a score of Advanced (5), Accelerated (4), Proficient (3), or (684 or higher) on their EOC exam in Algebra I, Geometry, and English II (students scoring in the Limited (1) range must take the scheduled exam)
Students must earn a score of Advanced (5), Accelerated (4), or Proficient (3) in U.S. History, U.S. Government, and Biology (students scoring below proficient must take the scheduled exam)
Students qualifying for the EOC exam exemption will have the following options to select from to determine their final exam grade:
The Final Exam grade will be tied to the earned EOC score 5 = A, 4 = B, 3 = C, 684 or higher, but not a 700 = D (Algebra I, Geometry, and ELAII only); 1 - must take final; the converted grade would go in as the highest number possible for the letter grade. i.e., A = 100, B = 89)
-or-
Average the 3rd and 4th 9-week grades.
-or-
Students will have the opportunity to take a final exam at their request during the regularly scheduled exam period for the course.
Buses will ONLY run in the morning and at the end of the regularly scheduled school day.

A summer safety message from the Berea Police Department
Summer is here and we want to wish everyone a safe and fun break away from school. One way
of doing so is to have a conversation with your children about electric bike safety. We are trying
to get this message out in every way we can because of the safety concerns surrounding these
bikes. We want to remind everyone that all children operating electric bikes are required to
wear a helmet and obey all traffic laws. A major safety concern with electric bikes is when they
are operated on sidewalks. Electric bikes are not permitted to be operated with the motor
engaged on the sidewalk. We ask that you speak with your children about being mindful of
pedestrians on the sidewalk and to slow down when approaching driveways. A short
conversation with family members about summer safety can go a long way in ensuring a happy
and safe summer.
Student Spotlights: Check out some of our Titans and their accomplishments!
Unified Titans took on Amherst and Westlake City Schools for some kickball fun! Great teamwork, huge smiles, and unforgettable memories were made on and off the field. Proud of our athletes for representing Titan pride the right way!
Students at Berea-Midpark High School welcomed district administrators and Board of Education member Cori Farris into the BMHS Smart Apartment for a student-led open house highlighting innovation, independence, accessibility, and real-world learning.
Made possible in large part through grant funding, the Smart Apartment gives students hands-on opportunities to build everyday living skills, problem-solving, communication, and independence in a realistic apartment-style setting.
During the open house, students demonstrated adaptive and smart technology features that can support students of all abilities, including Alexa-controlled blinds and lights, smart kitchen tools, a smart sink that measures exact amounts of water, an easy-to-use drink dispenser, a T-shirt folding device, and more.
The BMHS Smart Apartment helps students practice important skills related to cooking, organization, daily routines, and independent living, while building confidence for life beyond high school.
A special thank you to the students who did an amazing job leading the tours, demonstrating the technology, and welcoming guests into the apartment.
Congratulations Class of 2026!
Our seniors walked across the stage as graduates on Thursday evening.
Years of memories, friendships, lessons, challenges, laughter, growth, and moments that went by far too fast have all led to this event.
For families, it feels like yesterday they were walking into school for the very first time. For our students, it’s the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another.
We could not be prouder of the Class of 2026.
